The Greasy Type

You’ve held in a lot of anger and frustration over the years and your diet hasn’t exactly been the best.  You probably love a greasy cheeseburger with fries and some ice cream, but you definitely pay the consequences for it.  You are prone to developing a fatty liver, a sluggish gallbladder, or gallstones.

Possible Symptoms:

  • intolerance to fatty & fried foods

  • discomfort in the lower ribcage

  • tightness or fullness in the chest 

  • bitter taste in the mouth

  • nausea or vomiting

  • distended abdomen

  • vaginal itching 

  • excessive vaginal discharge

  • redness, pain or swelling of scrotum

  • dark urine

  • jaundice

  • fever

Causes:

  • Irregular eating habits

  • Too many cold & raw foods in the diet

  • Overthinking or mental strain

  • Long term frustration or repressed anger

  • Living in a hot and damp tropical climate

Helpful Tips:

  • Get plenty of fresh, organic, dark leafy greens in your diet and cut out the junk food.

  • Seek out a mental health counselor or therapist to help you let out your frustrations.

  • Ask your practitioner about taking Chinese herbal medicine.

  • Meat: chicken, beef, lamb, liver, turkey, venison

  • Seafood: anchovies, halibut, mackerel, tuna, trout, salmon, shrimp

  • Vegetables: arugula, beets, bok choy, broccoli, broccoli rabe, broccoli romanesco, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chives, collard greens, corn, fennel, kale, kelp, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, mustard greens, onions, peas, pumpkins, scallion, sweet potatoes, turnips, winter squash, yams

  • Starches/grains: amaranth, rice, rye

  • Beans/legumes: aduki beans, kidney beans, mung beans

  • Spices: aniseed, black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, nutmeg
